vintage transport day

North Norfolk Railway – Vintage Transport Day

The Railway’s annual Vintage Transport Festival has become one of the “must attend” events for owners of classic cars, trucks and motorcycles. There is so much to see and do with everything from marine engines and bicycles to Rolls Royces and tractors on display.

As well as private entries, many local clubs attend.

Vintage buses will be giving free rides around the local area, and to and from all NNR stations.

Last year we had over 400 exhibits attending, including cars, bikes, buses and static engines!

The majority of vehicles will be at Holt station on Sunday, however, exhibits are spread across the Railway. Although buses will be running on both Saturday and Sunday, there will be no other exhibits at the Railway on Saturday.

vintage bus rally

North Norfolk Railway – Vintage Bus Rally

A wide selection of vintage buses will be in operation with full timetables available nearer to the day.

Andrew Dibben IEA

The Gallery, Picturecraft Exhibition – Andrew Dibben IEA

This year marks fifty years from when Andrew enrolled at the then Norwich School of Art, and thirty years of working as a full-time landscape and marine artist. This personal landmark exhibition will feature a few paintings from earlier years, as well as a number of the small boat studies for which he is renowned. For several years, Andrew has experimented with a more contemporary style of cityscapes, few of which have had a public airing. By way of a complete contrast, a number of these intriguing studies will be shown here for the first time.

Private View on Friday 31st May by invitation only

The exhibition continues from Saturday 1st June until Wednesday 5th June 2019

Open Monday to Saturday 9.00am- 5.00pm (Sunday 2nd June 11.00am – 4.00pm)
